Hello Friends! This week I have an elegant and thoughtful card to share with you using the supplies from the December Creative Cafe' Kit - Take Flight by The Rubber Cafe'. This kit has some beautiful images and thoughtful sentiments.
Using the burgundy cardstock for my base, I cut it to 5 1/4 x 10 1/2". I scored it at 5 1/4" to create the square card. I cut a piece of the gray cardstock to 5 x 5". Using a scalloped edge punch, I punched the gray cardstock. Then I cut a piece of patterned paper to 4 3/4 x 4 3/4". I added some of the black/white polka dot washi tape included in the kit to the edge of the patterned paper. I used the scalloped edge punch and layered this onto the gray cardstock.
Using Spellbinders Labels 29, ( or you could use THESE or THESE from The Rubber Cafe' store) I cut a burgundy label and a white cardstock label. I stamped the sentiment into the bottom right corner of the white cardstock label die cut. I fussy cut some flowers from one of the patterned papers included in the kit. After adhering those flowers into place using 3d foam squares. I stamped the butterfly image from the add-on set, Take Flight, onto some peach paper from the paper pad and colored it with my Gelly Roll Stardust Pen. I added the seam binding and black rhinestones to complete the card! Here is a close-up!
If you haven't checked out The Rubber Cafe' Creative Cafe' Kit of the Month, now is your chance to start the new year off with a creative bang! Everything you need to create beautiful cards is included in the kit each month. There is 1 main stamp set, cardstock, patterned paper and many embellishments (including seam binding) in each kit. Plus you can purchase the extra add-on kit to give yourself more options! If you check out my YouTube Channel, you can see the contents of this month's kit!
Hello Friends! Today is Wednesday so you know what that means. I get to share my latest Heartfelt Creations project with you. I don't know about you but I was tired of creating Christmas cards, so I took a break and created a gift bag using Arianna Blooms paper collection, stamps and dies.
Here is my gift bag....
Here is a close-up of my flowers! I just love making my own flowers...you always have the right color and you can make them whatever size you need!
White Paper Sack – 4 5/8 x 2 7/8 x8 5/8” – Michael’s
Tuxedo Black Memento Ink - Tsukineko
Grand Labels Eleven – Spellbinders Paper Arts
White Pearl Swirls – Want2Scrap
2” Burgundy Silk Seam Binding
Wink of Stella Clear glitter brush pen
Large pearl – Butterbee Scraps
3d foam squares
Using the #4 die in the Grand Labels Eleven set (#1 is the smallest), cut the top only of the gift bag. (To do this, be sure to pull the bottom of the bag thru the die so that the die is setting on top of the part of the bag you don’t want cut.) Cut the burgundy paper using the #3 Grand Labels Eleven and cut the card front panel using the #2 Grand Labels Eleven. Layer these to die cuts together and glue onto front of bag. Using the hole punch, punch two hole at the top of the bag so that you can thread ribbon thru and tie a bow. Stamp the Arianna Blooms onto burgundy paper from the collection 3 times and die cut with matching die. Stamp one of the leaves from the Open Leaf PreCut set onto the green paper from collection 2 times using black ink. Die cut using matching die and shape using the paper blossoms kit/mat so that the leaves have a bit of dimension. Create 1 large flower and adhere pearl button in the middle. Create 2 small rose-type flowers using 2 small and 2 medium sized flowers from the set. Shape using the paper blossoms tool/mat . Adhere pearl flourish into place as shown. Adhere leaves into place and add flowers as shown. Cut the sentiment “ticket” from the paper collection and adhere into place using 3d foam squares. To complete bag, tie a bow with the silk ribbon.

Hello Friends! Today is Wednesday so that means it's time for a Heartfelt Creations project! On Black Friday, Heartfelt Creations released the Romantique Garden Collection. I really love the color combos and the romance of the whole collection. Here is alittle more about Romantique Garden.
Love is in full bloom with the Romantique Garden collection from Heartfelt Creations. A romantic symphony composed in subtle shades of pink, fuchsia, green, cream and charcoal harmonizes beautifully with picturesque images of dainty hummingbirds, devoted love birds, graceful swans and delicate bleeding heart bushes. Ornate ironwork backgrounds are in perfect harmony with layered elements of vintage sheet music, lace, flowing handwriting, scrollwork, florals, stripes and flourishes. Six hand drawn stamp sets capture the idyllic beauty of a peaceful garden where swans glide across the surface of a glassy lake, nesting lovebirds are wreathed in flowers, and hummingbirds sip nectar from blossom laden branches of exquisite beauty. The coordinating die cuts feature elegant swirled stems, a graduated set of bleeding heart blossoms and a majestic pair of swimming swans. Dreamy and idyllic, uplifting and inspiring, romantic and moving as a masterfully scored concerto, this enchanting collection is a celebration of love and life amidst the extraordinary beauty of nature.
I really love to scrapbook especially when I am making my own flowers to match my layout! So today, I created a layout using the Romantique Garden Collection paper pad along with the Arianna Blooms stamps and die!
This layout measures 12 x 12”. Select papers from the Romantique Garden Paper Collection. Using a distress tool, distress edges of the two sheets of base paper used in the layout. Crumple the corners of the layout and tear a piece of the paper away in the upper left hand corner. Die cut the Decorative Lace Border die from the burgundy paper and put a small section of the die cut behind the tear in the base paper so that it will peak out. Adhere these layers together. Cut a piece of black cardstock to 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 “ and distress the edges. Cut a piece of burgundy paper to 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 “ and distress the edges. My picture is 4 x 4”. Layer the picture onto the burgundy paper and then layer this onto the black paper. Adhere into place as shown. Cut a heart shape from the burgundy paper. Lay the burgundy heart onto a piece of black paper and using scalloped scissors, cut around the heart to create a mat. Adhere these together and then adhere to layout as shown. Stamp the Arianna Blooms stamp onto white cardstock using black ink 5 times. Die cut flowers using the Arianna Blooms die. You will be making 1 large white flower, 2 medium pink flowers, 1 small white flower and 2 small pink flowers. To create the pink flowers, use a sponge and apply Victorian Velvet Distress ink to the petals before shaping. Add the Autumn Leaves glitter in the center of all your flowers. Die cut the Arianna Lace dies from black cardstock and adhere to the back of the flowers as shown. Adhere flowers into place using 3d foam squares. Paint Chipboard word using Picket Fence Distress Paint. Adhere chipboard into place and add the small white flower. Spell out the word “true” using label maker and adhere into place as shown. Add the rhinestone flourishes into place to complete layout.

Here is my project for this challenge!
For this challenge, I dusted off alot of my Spellbinders dies to make this card. I used the Layered Poinsettia, Splendid Circles, Back to Basic Tags and the Classic Leaf die from Heartfelt Creations. The papers are from Authentique....don't you love them? I know I really love them and actually bought the 12 x 12 paper pad to create our family Christmas cards this year. This won't be our card because its alittle too fussy for mass production but I really love it! I also used a Clear Wink of Stella pen on the poinsettia and its sparkle is just awesome!
Hope you will join us for this challenge! Be sure to check out all the other Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge design team projects! So get to hopping and creating....you could win some cool stuff!

Hello friends! Today I am so excited because I am hopping along with rest of The Rubber Cafe' design team. We have some fun creative packaging ideas using supplies from recent Creative Cafe' Kits that will be great for the upcoming holidays! Here is my project for today's blog hop.....
I really love this little box! To make this box, I used the Tent Gift Bag Keepsake Die set from Tonic Studios. This was so quick and easy to make because the die contains everything you need including the a little die that will cut the holes for your ribbon!! I also used some papers and stamps from the October Creative Cafe' Kit - Christmas Behind The Scenes. I added some red stickles and tied some green twine into a ribbon and its done. I think these little boxes would be perfect for a place setting at our annual family get-together. I will probably fill them up with assorted chocolates!
So here is the order for the blog hop, be sure to share some kinds words along the way.
I hope that you have been inspired! If you have been, let all of us see what you have created for a chance to win a $25.00 gift certificate to The Rubber Cafe Store. Another lucky winner will win a one month subscription to the Creative Cafe Kit of the Month.

Hello friends! It's Wednesday again so that means it is time for a Heartfelt Creations project. Today I have three cards to share with you that I created using the Celebreate the Journey Collection paper pad. One of the best things about the beautiful papers that Heartfelt Creations designs is that they are full of card fronts that make creating super fun and easy!
Here is my first two cards. These are pretty simples cards that I created using the above cards fronts plus some sentiments from another sheet included in the collection.
Here is the page I used for the sentiments....
For my last card, I did get alittle more fancy! I used the Sun Kissed Fleur stamp and dies to create my flowers plus I die cut a piece from the Ornate Gateway die for underneath the flowers.
To created my flowers, I stamped the Sun Kissed Fleur image 4 times using black ink and die cut them. I then sponged the pink and brown inks on them. I colored the leaves included with some green ink. I shaped my flowers and added the leaves then adhered everything to the card. I added some brown pearls in the middle and used a Wink Of Stella clear pen to add some sparkle.
I really love to create with the Heartfelt Creations paper pads. It's so easy and fun!
Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to head over to the Heartfelt Creations blog to see all the other wonderful projects created by the design team!
