Hello friends! Hope your week is going well so far.....here it's pretty cold but I am not complaining. Maybe if the weather stays cold for awhile my allergies will finally calm down! Oh well, at least I have had plenty of time to create Christmas cards. So I have a few projects to share with you.
The first project is a photo tutorial on making your Christmas cards assembly-line style.
You can find all the instructions, pictures and supplies used on the Tonic Studios USA blog HERE! Hope you enjoy!
Here is another project I created to send to our family and friends. For your convenience, I have included affiliate links to the products I used. This just means that when you click on the link and purchase a product, I get a small percentage. It doesn't cost you anything and it helps me to pay for my blog and such!
I thought this was another fairly simple card that would be perfect to send to family and friends. I used Tonic Studios Header Fold Die Set - Tangled Holly. I used it upside down...you can also use it to create the top of the card, right at the fold. It's a pretty neato die! I stamped the sentiment onto some vanilla cardstock using Versamark ink and dusted it with Tonic Studios Nuvo Gold Enchantment Glitter Embossing Powder. It's gold and glittery! I used the Tonic Studios Mixed Edge Layering Ovals to die cut the sentiment and to die cut the red scalloped oval. The best thing about the Mixed Edge Layering Ovals from Tonic is that the scalloped and classic edges come in one die set! It is quite a great value! The beautiful ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The base of the card is Kraft cardstock and I used some scraps of gold cardstock I had in my scrap box. Making Christmas cards is a great time to pull out the scrap box and clean it out!
Hope I gave you some more ideas for your Christmas cards! I still have a Facebook Event open called Christmas Card Showcase. I put up pictures of card sets I have for sale. If you want to check it out, comment below and I will add you to the event. It's not too late!
